I am a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University, specializing in quantum computing. My research focuses on quantum error mitigation, quantum error correction and characterization, and quantum machine learning, with the broader goal of making near-term and early fault-tolerant quantum computation more reliable.
I hold an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University, where I worked on variational quantum linear solvers, and a B.E. in Electronics and Telecommunications from the Pune Institute of Computer Technology, Pune, India.
My work combines high-performance numerical simulation, GPU-accelerated computing, and object-oriented software development for hybrid quantum–classical workflows. I’ve had the opportunity to intern at SRI working on quantum reinforcement learning benchmarks, and as a Fellowship Student at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where I worked on QAOA-based warm-start optimizations for the Quantum Linear System Problem.
Outside of research, I enjoy mentoring high school and undergraduate students, reading science fiction and fantasy, and traveling.
